Forging a Fish Body with Overlay

In this video I show how I form the fish body and add in the stainless steel and the copper.

It includes cutting out the materials with a plasma cutter, forging the steel, stainless steel and hammering the copper. There are sections where I weld and braze the components together.  This video is narrated to give tips and extra details. I hope you enjoy watching.

Ok, so what if I have to add cute clips of my wife and kids and e mail the video to family just to get views.

Safety, Comfort and Looking Good

I got excited about the idea of embedding videos on my website. I started looking at other videos, around the shop and at myself. Other videos had weird distractions in the background and people doing unsafe stuff. My safety glasses had paint dripped down the lense and my gloves had needles in them from pulling weeds (cactus)...needless to say, I was not making it easy to be safe.

At that point, I knew that my first video would have to be a safety video. Safety videos are only cool when you see someone get all messed up... I thought about a shrapnel in the eye demonstration, but, ...since I'm a one man show, the executive director nixed it.

I tried to make it on the edge of silly and goofy, leaving the audience asking, "Is this guy for real?"

I hope to have some other exciting videos in the near future.
